Rev. Maharagama Kumara Kashyapa Thero is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Applied Buddhist Studies at Nan Tien Institute and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Suicidology at Griffith University, Australia. His academic background complements his dedication to guiding individuals on both spiritual and psychological well-being. He originally earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and Product Development from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, but found his true calling in the Theravada Buddhist monastic path.

With profound expertise in the Theravada tradition, he has excelled in teaching and fostering spiritual growth and ethical living. He has conducted successful Dhamma discussions and Vipassana meditation programs in numerous cities, including Colombo (Sri Lanka), Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Darwin, Gladstone (Australia), and Auckland, Wellington, and Hamilton (New Zealand).

His preferred residence is "Sathi Pattanagaraya," Rikillagaskada, Sri Lanka, which offers ideal conditions for monastic practice.
